It's not the same as being in the Tri-Cities on the weekend the hydroplanes come to town but our Hydromania continues. Guests enjoyed lots of food -and maybe suffered later from the hydro-chilli! The racing got started early with a boat being disqualified for going to slow (by rolling three ones in a row) in each of the first three heats. There were several blow-overs too. Dick’s mom Alice looked like the driver to beat as she finished first in her first two races. Dick on the other hand had zero points after two races! Lynne ended up as champion in an exciting 10 boat final heat. We also had a lot of fun playing a new lawn game with golf balls. Here are just a few of the 129 photos I took on Saturday…
