We reminisced today about what we we doing 35 years ago. Ken was listening to the new radio station in town, KISW. The bakery called - they made the wrong kind of cake. I played pool with Ann and hung out at the house...too long in fact, I was late to the church! It was a hot day, with thunder clouds rolling in. The ceremony was perfect. I didn't cry, even though I could hear Wendy sniffing back her tears.
The "wedding royalty" included Dave, Dick, Ann and Lynne. We are so happy you are still in our lives today!

After a receiving line that went on FOREVER, we cut the freshest wedding cake ever (they remade it) and posed in front of an empty punch bowl (I told you it was hot). Then it was off to the Thunderbird Hotel in Bellevue (woo hoo!). We forgot our camera and some other things we were going to need on our honeymoon, so our friends drove out to deliver them. Nothing like having a group join you for your wedding night... Honestly, they only stayed a short while. The next day we were off to Florence Oregon and the Driftwood Shores Motel. We actually had a travel agency help us with these arrangements!

They even brought us dessert on the house.
Here's to another 35 years...AND MORE!
