We just watched "Unwrapped" on the Food Network and were surprized to see a story on The Spudnut Shop in Uptown Plaza in Richland. It was the favorite place to go for doughnuts in the Tri-Cities. Oh-oh - you are not supposed to say doughnuts because Spudnuts are different than doughnuts. They are made with potato flour - very light and tasty. Managers would bring them as treats for meetings, coaches would take teams there after a big game. I think kids would go there on prom night. Colby - which are better? Spudnuts or Chucks? Hummm, I might have to stop at Krispy Kream tomorrow!
