(Who are those sweet, young kids?)
Ken wanted to surprise me with a mini vacation and started planning for this weeks ago. He amazed himself that he was able to keep it a secret!
Saturday morning he told me I had 2 hours to get myself ready and pack an overnight bag.
He wouldn't tell me where we were going - just headed south. It was a gorgeous day so the top was down on the Mustang. I was giddy with happiness.
When we crossed the Narrows Bridge I guessed where we were headed.
The Inn at Gig Harbor.
He had reserved an Executive suite with Jacuzzi tub.
After a little wine tasting at a near by shop, he told me we better get back to the hotel as my massage was scheduled for 2:00
Ahhhhhhhhh
After all my knots and worries had melted away, we headed to the waterfront.
All the mountains were "out".
We had fantastic meals (I'm still full!)
Enjoyed a beautiful sunset...
No vacation is complete without a stop at the local Costco. We bought a new comforter set for the new house. It will serve as a wonderful reminder of the romantic weekend for years to come!

Looks like a great trip. Happy anniversary. I guess that means you have to do it again next year when it really is the 40th anniversary.
Happy Anniversary!
What great photos!
