It turned out to be a beautiful evening for the Light the Night Walk this year to raise money for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society. It was in the upper 70's in the afternoon and when the sun went down there was an almost full, bright orange moon. and of course the thousands of illuminated balloons bobbing along with all the walkers. Very impressive every time we see it. We were so surprised, and so pleased to have 25 people walking for Team Never2old. We really had no idea how many walkers we would have this year. With all of Ken's hospital visits and Sydnie's surgery and radiation, we didn't have much time for fundraising and finding teammates this year.
Ken's oncologist, Dr. Walter, his wife Sarah and son Remy, Shelley & Randy, and Jo pose by Ken's Honor photo. Doctor pushed Ken most of the way around the lake. Along with lots of friends and family, we were joined by Dr Rachel Loschiavo, who took care of Ken during his 2 week stay in the hospital in August, and Meesha, one of his nurses.

Ken walked across the finish line! Thanks again to everyone who donated, participated in the walk and helped me get around the lake. Mark your calendars for the last Saturday in September, next year as we do it all again.
