Dad Sheets

It has been difficult these last few weeks dealing with the passing of Ken's Dad. I find I have been procrastinating putting anything in the blog. We will be having military honors at Tahoma for family in a few weeks. Hearing taps will be very emotional. On Saturday, Dec 5th we will have an open house for friends and family at Wendy and Donny's. Come join us!

For any who missed it, here is the obituary:

George (Cam) Sheets, age 76 entered into rest in Bellingham, WA on October 29, 2009. Cam was born to George W and Sarah M (Cameron) Sheets on September 1, 1933 in Lacombe, Alberta Canada. He graduated from Bellevue High School in 1951 and went on to join the Marine Corps two years later. Staff Sergeant George Sheets was discharged from the military in November 1963 after receiving a National Defense Medal and three Good Conduct Medals.

He was married in July of 1953 and is survived by the love of his life Beverly

and their 4 children, Ken (Sydnie),
Jeff, Wendy (Donny) & Doug (Dianna), as well as his sister Eileen, 7 grandchildren, Colby (Kim), Ondia, Sarah, Erik, Tyler, R. Cameron, Nick and 1 great grandchild, Elle.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Margaret and Jean and daughter- in-law Michelle.
Cam served on the Steering Committees for both St. Joseph Hospital and the Center for Senior Health in Bellingham. He enjoyed camping, fishing, reading, history and his crossword puzzles. He loved everything “Marine” – it’s what he was most proud of – “SEMPER FI”.
