Let it be tree

As I walk from my car to the front door, I pass a beautiful birch tree, some roses, a Japanese maple and a tree that is bursting with fall color. I consider this my "let it be tree" so that when I walk in the front door, I don't bring all my stress from the day. Ken has been at home all day waiting to talk and share his thoughts and plans. I want to greet him with a smile and have him know I am glad to be home. I want to share my walk with you...

This next tree is in front of Mom and Dad Sheets appartment in Bellingham. I hope Ken and Wendy are able to leave some stress on these branches. They were called by the hospice nurse to come and help with their dad. It may only be days till the cancers take him away.

Sydnie, I absolutely share your love of trees! I find that one of the things I love most living in the Northwest is the beautiful surroundings. Sometimes it feels so easy to be swept up into things, but looking into nature like you spoke about, often also helps me to remember who and where I am. :) I love the Japanese maples! -Stacey
